Well, it was already the last day of our trip in Langkawi. After packing up our things and returning the apartment key to the receptionist, we went to have our breakfast at Breakfast Bar again.

I had my American Breakfast. Unfortunately it was not that filling for me. Thanks to Evie for giving me half of hers because she couldn't finish it. Haha. We went to the airport after our breakfast to check in since our flight back to KL was also in the afternoon. Here's a few photos I snapped around just to kill time while waiting for the arrival of the plane.

Finally, after an hour of waiting, the plane arrived. I guessed its time to say good bye to Langkawi.

Overall, it was really an enjoying and fun trip there. Maybe we'll get back here again next time to visit some other places. ^^

After we bought our souveniers, we went back the apartment to get some rest and get ready for our sunset dinner. We went to the House Beach And Restaurant for our dinner while we enjoy the beautiful sunset at the beach.

Overall the food and drinks are quite good. I ordered ice lemon tea and the chicken burger.

There were lots of activities done at the beach during the evening such as the parachute, boat riding and beach volleyball. Well, I guess i'll just let the photo's do the talking again.

By the way, here are the few shots of sunset which I manage to take at the beach and also some interesting silhouette shots.

And thess are two of my favourite shots. Manage to convert the last one into .gif file to make it even more 'interesting'..haha

After dinner, we decided to drive to Dataran Lang or also known as the Eagle Square since we do not have sufficient time to visit the place on the next day.

I didn't take much photos here as I forgot to bring my tripod along. Anyway we went back around 10-11 to pack our stuffs as we will be going back on the next day. I will try to post up the last day as soon as possible :)

Well, after we were brought to our boat, we started our island hopping trip. The first destination the tour guide brought us was the Pregnant Maiden's Island. The island is given that name due to its shape which looks like a pregnant lady.

After that, we were brought to Dayang Bunting Geopark Forest.

We were warned to take care of our things especially our food because this island has its own 'residents' which might snatch away your things. Those residents I'm talking about is them.

Yeap. Its the monkeys. They were the local residents here.We walked around the island and there was a lake where you could swim and ride the boats while enjoying the beautiful sceneries.

We spent our time there about an hour before our tour guide came to pick us up to our next destination which is the eagle sighting. You could see eagles flew down to catch its food from the river.

Anyway I didn't really manage to take a good picture of the eagles due to my lens restriction. (A sign to get new zoom lens. Hmm..) But i still manage to get a picture of how professional photographers trying to get the best photos.

After the eagle sighting, our last destination is the Pulau Beras Basah. This is the place where we can swim along the beach. So I didn't manage to shoot any pictures as I was too busy enjoying the fun in the salt water. Haha. At around 1pm, we came to an end for our island hopping trip. We had our lunch at Fat Mum and bought some chocolates and liquour of course to bring back home.

We woke up at about 7am the next day to prepare for the Island Hopping trip. Evie and Jane prepared the sandwich. We had instant noodle as our breakfast. After an hour, everyone got ready. We drove ourselves to Porto Malai first since its still early.


The resort is nice as its located next to the sea. Just like its name, there are many ships/boats parked at the port. There is even a lighthouse here.

We spent our time here about an hour before we proceed to the Island Hopping trip.

The picture below is the boat that we will be taking for our trip. I will tell more about it on the next post.

P/S: I just post up a short one cuz been busy this weekend.

At about 3pm+ we reached the Oriental Village. This is the place where the famous Langkawi cable car is located. Well the place is nice with lots of shops selling souvenirs and there is even a 'mini safari' there. Anyway the first thing I saw when I enter is this. Haha

There is even a large fish pond and besides it is a place where you could sit down and relax.


Anyway our main objective in Oriental Village is the cable car.

Luckily we went during weekdays so the queue is not that long. After just a few minutes, Jess managed to get all the tickets for us. Just as a reminder, do remember to carry along your MyKad (IC) as you are entitled for a 50% discount. The normal price for the ticket is RM30.

Just like in Genting, we will just wait and jumped in straight as soon as the cable car arrived as it will not stop.

When we get into the cable car, we could feel the cool breeze and also the hot sunshine at the same time. We could see beautiful sceneries but due to the haze condition, it was not that clear.

By the way, I spotted this special cable car when we reached the first stop. I wonder how it feels if we were able to ride it.

Overall, there are 2 stops before we get to the top level. Oh yeah, just to add some entertaiment to the trip, we got our own Mr. Thinker along with us.

Well, eventually we managed to get to the top. There is a beautifully shaped bridge at the top for us to walk.

Some of us are amazed of how this bridge can be built among the mountains.

We spend about 3 hours there before all of us are tired and decided to go back down except for William, David and Jane who wanted to see the sunset. Oh yeah, I also managed to take this which is one of my favourite. LOL

After we reached down, we wanted to visit the 'mini safari' but unfortunately it was already closed. So we just walked around while waiting for the rest to come down. Here are some of the random shots I took to kill the time.

We left the place at about 7pm+ with hungry stomachs. So we drive ourselves again to Cenang area to have our dinner. Jess suggested a restaurant called 'Campur-Campur' but due to some unknown reasons, the restaurant is closed. Bad luck for us. We decided to eat at Orkid Ria instead. The food is nice there.

After dinner, we went to buy some groceries for tomorrow's trip which is the Island Hopping. We managed to buy some alcohols too. When I look at the price, I was surprise to see the big difference. A can of beer only cost you RM2 and you could even get it cheaper in supermarkets there. After that,we went back and bath. That night, everyone slept quite early after a long day.

We gathered at the LCCT around 9am. After we had breakfast at McDonald, we went to check in. The flight was delayed around 20 minutes before we depart. At around 12.20pm, we started our journey to Langkawi. Here is part of the Langkawi gang. Daniel is sitting behind me and Jess is at the seat in front. Evie I dont't know hilang where. LOL

The flight took about an hour and finally we reached our destination.

As soon as we arrived, the 2 cars that we have rented waited for us at the airport. After Jess deal with all the procedure, we started to drive around to find food for lunch. The food in Langkawi is not cheap. Finally we decided to eat at Breakfast Bar. Well, the restaurant doesn't only provide food in the morning just like its name.

I had iced coffee together with chicken rice. The price is quite cheap here. Overall cost me less than RM10 for my lunch. A recommended place if you guys are on a budget trip. Its along the road at the Cenang area.

After lunch, since we still had some time to spare because the check in time is around 2pm, we drive our way to one of the Cenang Beach resort. I have forgotten the name of the resort actually. Anyway the resort is well kept and the scenery is nice there with lots of decorations. Well, I guess I'll let the pictures tell the story.

Finally, we went to check in at the Perdana Apartment which Satkuru had prepared for us. Oh yeah, he did settle our car rental and also the Island Hopping trip which I will tell about later. Thanks Sat for the help :) The apartment is quite nice and spacious. It has two bedrooms.

After we had checked in, we unpacked our luggage and prepare to go to our next destination. I'll tell more about it in Part 2.

Last weekend, went to Langkawi together with SO gang (Jess, Aaron, David, Daniel, William, Jane, Evie and Pink). I will update more about it in a few days time.
